Cask Ice Quilt for 9 Gallon Cask
The economical way to cool your horizontal (Laying down) cask of ale.
Available in either
- pack of 2 Ice Quilts
- roll of 78 Ice Quilts
Soak quilts in water and the sorbent in the pockets in the quilt will expand. Shake off excess water. Put quilts in plastic bag supplied (foil face together) and then pop in your freezer to freeze.
When frozen take one quilt and put over your cask. This will cool your cask from the outside and will last on average for 3 hours. At this point you can then use the 2nd quilt to replace the first. The first quilt can then go back into the bag and in the freezer to re-freeze.
